The overmantel is animated by a molded frame cocked hat profile, flanked by molded frames on the side.
The lintel is slightly curved. The cornice is highly molded frame cocked hat profile. 
Lintel and jambs are brought back.

Dated from the 19th century, Napoleon III Chassagne stone fireplace, stone from a quarry located in Burgundy.The jambs in molded sheaths are decorated with windings and draperies. They support a slightly step lintel decorated with a median diamond-tipped cartouche and flanked by foliage and acanthus leaves. Minor restorations.
