Sculpture in direct size representing Saint-Michel in full length slaying the dragon lying at his feet with his lance.
François Aristide Belloc realized many works and sculptures intended for religious monuments, but especially a monumental work, the Virgin of Monton, between 1864 and 1869 for the commune of Beaucaire (Gard) of a height of 14 meters. Around 1870, Aristide Belloc moved to Niort where he worked with Vidiani who was a molder in that city.
