Customers should be aware that certain objects marketed by the ORIGINES company, are described as "cultural goods" and are subject to administrative authorisation. The following objects may be described as "cultural goods":

"Elements and fragments of building decoration by nature or destination, with civil or religious character and demolished buildings, of more than 100 years old"

• value threshold 0 Euro, belonging to category
• Appended in decree n° 2001-894 of 26 September 2001 modifying decree n° 93-124 of 29 January 1993 relating to cultural goods subjected to certain restrictions of circulation (J.O. of 29 September 2001).

"Original art statuary productions or sculpture and copies obtained through the same process as the original art statuary older than 50 years of age (not belonging to their author)"

• value threshold 50 000 Euros belonging to category 6
• Appended in decree n° 2001-894 of 26 September 2001 modifying decree n° 93-124 of 29 January 1993 relating to cultural goods subjected to certain restrictions of circulation (J.O. of 29 September 2001).

"Other objects of antiquity that have not been included in categories 1 to 13 older than 50 years of age"

• value threshold 50 000 Euros belonging to category 14
• Appended in decree n° 2001-894 of 26 September 2001 modifying decree n° 93-124 of 29 January 1993 relating to cultural goods subjected to certain restrictions of circulation (J.O. of 29 September 2001).

As a result, even when the Seller or the Purchaser may take the necessary steps for the exportation of the products that have been sold, the Seller cannot be held responsible for an eventual refusal concerning exportation, the Purchaser being made wholly responsible for the consequences of such a refusal and as a consequence cannot take action against the Seller within this context and in particular to seek the termination or cancellation of the sale or the total or partiel refunding of the price for the products acquired.

Please note that the ORIGINES Company does of course take the preliminary steps concerning export authorisation for the objects that it markets and generally has the relevant authorisations.
