DESCRIPTION :
Dating from the late 19th century, cast iron fountain center piece decorated with triton crowned laurel holding a fish in his hands. The gadrooned basin is supported by a turned feet lavishly decorated with flowers, acanthus leaves ending with a square base decorated with shells.

The model for this fountain belongs to the catalog of the foundry Ducel J. J. et Fils - Maître de Forges à Paris - Rue du Faubourg Poissonnière, 26. Planche 109, No. 7590 (our illustration). It will subsequently be published by the foundry of Val d'Osne.
