Dating from the 19th century, Louis XIV style peach blossom marble fireplace. The lintel is decorated at its center by an acanthus leaf carved from which there is a few leaves of ivy. The profile of the hearth, emphasized of a torus, presents a low arch form, "gueule de four", with a fluted jamb console topped by acanthus leaf. The tablet is right and molded. We find similar marble and form fireplaces in the Cabinet de la Pendule or the Salon des Jeux of the Palace of Versailles. Lintel restored, minor old restorations.
